Next to Base Camp Cafe, Schat’s is famous for its breads, croissants and other baked goods. Though it is not a sit-down restaurant (but rather your go-to for to-go orders), it features a deli-counter with fresh sandwiches, and its front room proves a vortex for many kids, wide-eyed at all of the cakes, cookies and other treats beckoning them from behind the glass cases.
