Stafford’s Pier has arguably the best patio dining along Little Traverse Bay in the summertime. In the winter, families flock to the casual Chart Room, perfect for kids with its lower-priced menu and nautical decor, including maps of the surrounding Great Lakes. Favorites include french onion soup, fish and chips and burgers. There’s also a salad bar.
