Ted Drewes is a St. Louis landmark. The first store opened in St. Louis 1929, selling Christmas trees and custard (they still sell the trees!). According to legend, Ted Drewes’ milkshakes, known as “Concretes,” are so thick you can hold them upside down without anything spilling out. There are two store locations in St. Louis where families can get smooth, rich custards, cones, sundaes, floats and other sweet treats.
