The budget-friendly Rhymers Beach Hotel is located right on the beach on Cane Garden Bay within walking distance of several shops, restaurants, bars and other activities. Accommodations are basic, but many feature ocean views. Each room has one or two beds, a small kitchenette, air conditioning and cable television.

Rhymers’ location right on the beach is convenient for ocean-intensive activities like sailing, surfing, fishing, kayaking and other watersports, as well as lounging and playing in the sand.

The onsite restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner daily and offers both local and international cuisine. The beach in front of the hotel has lounge chairs and umbrellas available for guest use. Beach towels are available upon request. There’s also a large, furnished shared porch and a second-floor balcony overlooking the ocean.

Wi-Fi and parking are both offered free of charge.

Good time

We have stayed there before but this time we just stopped for lunch. Had a great lobster sandwich with real lobster and a good Cesar salad. Service was good. Place looks good again after Irma.

Best Bang for the Buck on Tortola

First, let me say that if you are looking for 5 star accommodations, Rhymer's is not the place for you. So to fully appreciate this wonderful hotel, you have to accept it for what it is and do not expect it to be what it is not. What it IS is an awesome little hotel with decent sized rooms and a wonderful friendly staff right on the beach in the middle of all the action! But if you have a high need for super clean rooms, room service, shampoo, coffee, etc., this is probably not the place for you. As for myself, I will be going back again and again because it is, in my opinion, everything I had hoped it would be and more. Thanks to Patsy, Cardin, Leona, Lynette, and Gweneth, for making it such a memorable experience!
