We booked this property for 1 night on our way to Michigan. When we arrived, the front doors were open and a portable desk was sitting in the entryway. The entire lobby and dining area were under construction but we had not been given any indication that this was taking place. Thank goodness we were only staying for 1 night. The room was dingy, walls had badly patched holes and were spattered with who knows what. We selected the property based on reviews, so we were taken aback at what we found.

This place is filthy and extremely dated with an entrance that made you want to turn around and go back. Unfortunately we had a non-refundable reservation. The carpets were worn and filthy (not something I would walk bare foot on) and the place looked like it had not been renovated for over 30 years. The breakfast was only pre-packaged donuts/sweet rolls that were stacked behind the reservation's desk.
