Exceeded expectations.

Stayed at Room Mate Laura for two nights, and it was very enjoyable. We had a last-minute change of plans due to a flight cancellation, so had to find a place in Madrid about 5 days out. Glad Room Mate Laura was available.

Very clean hotel, and friendly, helpful staff. Hotel is in a great location as well. A few minutes walk for the Puerta del Sol and the Royal Palace of Madrid. TONs of restaurants and things to do close by. The icing on the cake was that they lent us a WiFi hot spot to use around the city, free of charge. Really came in handy a few times walking around. Would stay here again, and definitely will take note of other Room Mate brand hotels in other cities.

Pleasant surprise

We stayed at the Room Mate Laura for two nights and was really pleased with the experience.

Location was great! 3 minute walk to the royal palace. Less than 10 minutes to plaza del sol or plaza mayor. Very close to chocolateria san gines.

Room was spacious. We could hear noise from the hallway as other guests come in and out from their rooms but not too bad. There were some sounds from the streets but it was relatively more quite in that neighborhood than others. Air conditioning could have been cooler but we did not complain to management anymore.

Breakfast spread was more than what we expected. Great value for money.

The best part was they gave us a complimentary portable hotspot to bring around the city so we could use WiFi. Nice touch!

Would highly recommend staying in room mate Laura!
