A fanciful and funky Catskills motel, The Roxbury is a destination unto itself. Opened in 2004 with just 11 rooms, there are now 27 rooms in two sections: North and South. Every room is unique, colorfully inspired by a famous TV series, film or cartoon of the 1960s or 70s. There is creatively detailed décor, such as a ceiling that lights up like the solar system.
Some rooms (like the “Baby Polka Dotty”) are more suitable for families than others (like the “Shagadelic” suite). There are seven spacious kitchenette rooms with a fridge, microwave, coffee machine, and wet bar sink. There are also two-bedroom loft suites with living rooms, and a three-bedroom archaeology-themed cottage.
Parking and continental breakfast are complimentary. There’s a DVD library with 400 titles. Child-free time can be spent at the Shimmer Spa or the cocktail lounge. If you do wish to explore beyond the property, it’s close to shops, restaurants, parks, swimming lakes and skiing.

This place is amazing! The attention to detail on every last fixture is amazing. The entire place is also immaculate. I can wait for Stratton Falls to open! The new construction pictures are unbelievable. Next time we will take our teenagers.
This is not only the best hotel I ever stayed in but one of the highlights of the trip.
The rooms are unbelievable - themed and decorated to the last detail.
Breakfast is great and staff is very friendly.
