Service is always quick and welcoming at Amuse. Colin is one of the nicest and most professional bartenders you'll meet. The rotating local beer taps frequently have fresh and delicious options. I will be back!
Stayed for 2 nights to attend a venue in the Science Research Park. Arrival was met promptly by friendly and welcoming staff at the front desk who efficiently processed my reservation. I was assigned a nicely-sized corner room that had two banks of windows; assigned room was a little dated but clean and comfortable. Everything worked well, re: climate control, and wifi. Room had sufficient and facile access to power outlets adjacent to the work desk and bed - that was appreciated by this business traveler. Bed was comfortable but could do with firmer pillows; wash basin was outside the bathtub/shower and toilet. Service at the bar and restaurant were excellent. Location of hotel is about 15 minutes from downtown La Jolla but is walking distance to a mall with a nice range of restaurants. This is a well-functioning establishment worthy of your consideration.
