For the most unique stay in Seaside, the Sandy Cove Inn features fun themed rooms. Themes include Country Charm, The 1940s, Victorian, and Silver Screen. Some of the rooms can accommodate four guests, while others just two, so you can book a combination of rooms to suit your family. Or, check out the larger vacation rentals offered by Sandy Cove Inn. They offer condos and townhouses that can sleep anywhere from six to 12 guests.
The Inn is a family-run hotel, and one of the friendliest in town. It’s located away from the downtown area, about a 20-minute walk along the beachfront and promenade, which makes it a quieter alternative to most hotels in Seaside, Oregon. Most importantly, the beach is just two blocks away. Amenities include free Wi-Fi, refrigerators, coffeemakers, free DVD rentals, games for the kids, and pet-friendly rooms.

Normally I require only 4 things from a hotel: clean, quiet, comfortable bed and great WiFi. Anything else like toiletries, spas, bath towels, etc are just extras. So I was pleasantly surprised about how much I enjoyed my stay at this hotel.
Be aware: this is an older motel. It IS family owned. So any of the employees are friendly and more like family of the motel than people punching a clock. The motel is dated. But everything is clean and comfortable (including the bed). All the rooms have VHS players ( yep, you read that right. VHS). The lobby has a large collection of VHS tapes including The Goonies. My boyfriend and I had a blast picking out a movie for each night.
There is not central A/C. This wasn’t a concern since open the window was adequately cooling. However, this does open the window to the walkway so if you are a light sleeper, you might request one of the end rooms. All the rooms are individually decorated. Our room was 1900’s. The quilt wall hanging was amazing.
The motel is in easy walking distance to the beach, bars and several good restaurants.

Last month,I wanted to get away from my hectic work schedule for a few days. I usually stay at another motel, that a have been going to for over 30 years. They were booked. So that gave me the opportunity to surf for alternatives. Low and behold, I found Sandy Cove in. What a lovely place to stay. I had the opportunity, to meet the staff when I checked in, including the owner Annie. Each room at the Sandy Cove Inn, are decorated in there own unique way. I love it. I forgot to mention, the price is what drew me to look at the Sandy Cove Inn. I don't think you find a better price!
Thanks again Sandy Cove Inn.
