My favorite place for a quick trip to Stone Harbor, the Seaward is steps from both the beach and downtown. The rooms are clean and the pool is well kept. Efficiency suites make it easy to travel with grown kids.

We've stayed here for many years with our two kids and now as a couple. It's exactly what you imagine when you think of Jersey Shore Motels - just without the Wildwood DooWop! Conveniently located within walking distance to the beach, great restaurants, shopping and of course Fred's Tavern. Just a short drive to the Wildwwod Boardwalk for a nice evening stroll down memory lane. The rooms are very clean. The owners are personally onsite everyday so it's very well run and maintained. We've experienced that most of the guests are very courteous to one another and are great about sharing deck chairs and the swimming pool grill. Never experienced any problems with late night partiers/noise because most of those people prefer to stay in Wildwood where they don't roll up the sidewalks at 10:00 pm., nor would they be tolerated for long by Pat (the owner) - Thank you Pat!
Note: The seaward is a typical 3 story "walk-up" motel meaning - no elevator. Parking is free and onsite, the spaces are very tight, but as I said all the guests are good about working together and parking between the lines to make it work for everyone's mutual benefit. Note: Beach tags are Free with a cash deposit that's refunded when the tags are returned.
