Serrano Hotel – A Kimpton Hotel is a nice spot for families with kids to go. The hotel is just around the corner from the Palace of Fine Arts, Marin Headlands and Lands End. Additional points of interest include the Golden Gate Park and Alcatraz. This 4-star hotel has 236 suites, a fitness center and nearby golf course. Serrano Hotel dining options include onsite restaurant and room service. Tony’s Pizza Napoletana, Tartine Bakery and Anchor Oyster Bar & Seafood Market are all family-friendly eateries that are reputable and are within 5 miles of hotel.

Great Place to Stay

We found the staff, accommodations, and location ideal. Everyone was friendly and courteous. We did find the pillows somewhat hard, so if this is an issue, I recommend to add a special request. Otherwise, it may be a challenging sleep. Bathroom is on the smaller side, but nonetheless adequate.

Hotel Spero

Fitness center is lacking. Lobby is interesting but not as great as the photos. Jaspers restaurant offers a casual sports bar feel and is a much less upscale experience than is offered at other properties.
Better options for dining or drinks are elsewhere.
