Located directly on the water, this hotel overlooks Elizabeth River and is situated in the downtown area. Bring the entire family on this Norfolk trip, even the four legged family members, as this hotel is pet friendly. Families will love to spend some quality time by the seasonal outdoor pool. The kids can swim and play and the adults can relax on the surrounding lounge chairs under umbrellas. The comfortable guestrooms and suites feature a king or two queen beds and a flat screen television. Some rooms feature a private balcony. Complimentary Wi-Fi access can be found within the guestrooms, making it convenient for the whole family to stay connected to work, home and school while visiting Norfolk. The onsite restaurant, City Dock Norfolk, serves delicious breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Comfortable and Convenient

Had a pleasant stay. The staff were friendly and my room was upgraded with a wonderful view. My room was clean and comfortable. The hotel restaurant had nice service and the food wasn't too bad. My only complaint was distace from the hotel to the parking lot.

Great location

This hotel is located on the Elizabeth River with great views of river activity and the dry docks, A brick walkway runs along the river to restaurants and parks as well as nearby attractions. Housekeeping needs improvement - haphazard at best!. The corridors never looked clean. Staffing in the restaurant is not sufficient when large groups present. Valet parking is $27/night with the only other choice off-site parking some distance away, Rooms facing valet parking are subject to middle of the night car alarms.
