The resort was a pleasant surprise. The staff, especially Sonya, were welcoming and made us feel as though we were the most important part of their day. Our suite was charming and a big surprise. It was relaxing, had two fireplaces, and had an excellent attention to detail within the suite. The kitchen was fully stocked and had every implement required to cook meals.

The continental breakfast was delicious and well planned.

Overall we would stay here again in a heartbeat!

My friend and I really enjoyed our stay at Snow Lake Lodge. Although the complex is older, the units have been modernized for the most part and are very cozy. Our one bedroom condo had two full bathrooms, the bedroom had a king bed with a second fireplace. The staff were very responsive to my request for some minor repairs, when the television wasn’t working.

Each day the lodge had a little special activity for the guests, like winetasting, continental breakfast, movie night, etc. The Jacuzzi was very nice. My only complaint is, there are no balconies or even places where you might sit out and have a drink or snacks.

The lodge is close to Big Bear Village and local hiking trails, but you do need a car. You can walk to a few restaurants. If you have mobility issues, make sure and request a first floor unit because it’s three floors and there’s no elevator.

I thought it was really nice that the kitchen was equipped with just about everything you would need to make a meal plus a coffee maker, toaster, dishwasher. My only recommendation would be to add a Teflon pan because the only frying pan they had was just metal and everything sticks.

I felt the customer service was excellent, and I wanted to give special recognition to the two front desk ladies, Samantha and Desirae. They were always very accommodating, cheerful and knowledgeable about the area. They gave us some good recommendations for hiking and local restaurants.

We really liked the snow lake lodge and I would recommend it to others.
