Stoney Creek sits on the Moline riverside of the Illinois/Iowa Quad Cities area. The Inn offers 140 rooms and suites. Suites are best for families, as they provide additional space to stretch out, stone fireplaces and sleeper sofas. Select rooms are specifically for families, as they contain sturdy, log bunk beds. Larger cottages also include full kitchens. Kids stay free with parents, and the cutoff age is 18. A daily hot breakfast is also served at Stoney Creek. For fun, kids can play in the indoor/outdoor swimming pool. The pool has a swim-through layout that leads from inside to outside. A dry sauna and whirlpool spa are near the pool. Also, a video game room is on the premises. There are many area activities for families at Stoney Creek. Kids can jog or bike along the Mississippi River. For farm-loving families, the John Deere World Headquarters is also nearby. Adler Theater also shows a variety of entertaining plays and concerts.

The kids thought the cabin theme was pretty cool and really enjoyed the decor. Our double room was a decent size and very clean. The front desk staff was very nice and the person working the breakfast area was extra helpful since I was traveling alone with my 2 kids. This was a stop over on a long road trip but it looked like the river front near by would be good for exploring. The indoor/outdoor pool is always a hit with the kids and the hot tub was actually nice and hot. We've stayed at other Stoney Creek's before but so far we liked this pool layout the best. Getting to the actual parking lot wasn't clear on the GPS but nothing too inconvenient. The kids are asking when we can go back again!
Nice hotel with cool interior. The only thing was the water never got hot in the shower had to ask for Kleenex because box was empty. Breakfast was typical hotel food went someplace different for food.
