Located between Twin Cities and Chicago, Waukon is a relaxing, Northwoods town, perfect for families looking for quiet and seclusion. Of course, there are family-friendly activities and attractions, too. The Allamakee Antique Mall is less than a half-mile from the hotel. Also, the Laura Ingalls Wilder Park and Museum are a short drive away. There are 40 guestrooms with stone fireplaces and theme decors. Standard rooms contain televisions and spacious bathrooms. Rooms with a refrigerator and microwave can be requested at the front desk. Theme suites are more spacious with whirlpool spas, sleeper sofas and coffeemakers. Popular in-room amenities include wireless Internet access and cable television with HBO. Children age 17 and under stay for free. All guests can enjoy a daily hot breakfast. Fresh coffee is available in the lobby at all hours.

Very quaint and cozy

Small Inn that is extremely clean and accommodating. Since we were
Part of their rewards club we got upgraded from a King room to a suite with couch and jacuzzi. It was probably the most comfortable room and bed all of our trip!

Staff was friendly and took care of any need. Breakfast was not huge but met our needs. Would recommend to anyone!

Clean, Spacious and Lodgey

My husband and I loved this Inn. It was very clean, modernly up to date, and plenty of space. The decor definitely portrays a hunting and fishing lodge. Someone greeted us, offered restaurant suggestions, and gave us directions to where we wanted to go. I'd recommend this place any day.
