I was in town to see a concert at the nearby Princess Theatre, and found this hotel only a few blocks from the venue. Checking in was very easy, and quick. The lady at the front was very nice during check-in as well. The room itself was a bit dated, but it was very clean and comfortable. I was just needing a clean place to shower and sleep during my stay, and it fit the bill perfectly. I would not hesitate to stay here again on future trips.

Why such negative reviews? Was very clean, updated, staff was great and it was overall a good experience. For the price per night, you can't expect a 5 star hotel. We are in this area every year during the month of August and this was our first stay here. We will return. Could it be better? Yes, but it wouldn't reflect on our decision. Bed was very comfortable and it was quiet. It's not amidst shopping or restaurants but those are available very close.
