This is a 5 star hotel only if you get one of the newly renovated rooms, our room in the Manor House would have been fine in the 1980s but sadly was very tired looking and we had ants in the room which we would find in our drawers and clothes, also in our bed which would wake us in the night
After complaining 4 times we were eventually moved to a room that had been renovated and what a difference! The room was beautifully appointed with a stunning view and after 9 nights in a room that a travel lodge would be embarrassed by, our holiday could finally start.
Apart from our room this hotel is a beautiful place to holiday, the food is of high quality and the service around by the pool for drinks etc is top drawer, the tides pool bar staff cannot do enough to make you comfortable.
The facilities, gym, swimming pools are of a high standard and the hotel grounds are well maintained. A special mention should go to Pam in the gym for her professionalism and enthusiasm.
Would I go back? Only if I got a renovated room from the beginning

Amazing place to be ... beautiful property, amazing facilities for water sports, amazing kids club, nice spa, and importantly amazing staff .. at the reception Elsa was super helpful ... at the restaurant Kumar & Anand were amazing ..
