We were here for the "Day of the dead" festival, which was amazing ! Had 4 nights here, all was good, only negative was that the hot water was hit and miss ! Room was large, comfy clean,quite dark and certainly not luxurious. Staff were friendly, roof top terrace had some great views of Oaxaca City and the surrounding mountains. Safe deposit boxes were available at the front desk.
Location was excellent, just a short walk to the central square and plenty restaurants nearby.
A good choice in an older,authentic Mexican building, just don't expect luxury here ! I would stay here again if ever in Oaxaca Ciy.

We loved staying at this sweet hotel, good beds, great location, clean and very helpful staff that helped us with taxi service and local recommendations in the area. The hot water and shower pressure were a little weak, but not a big deal to me. I would definitely stay here again.
