The two-story Sun Valley Inn was built in 1937. The 109 rooms range from two queens beds to three-bedroom apartments. If you’re vacationing with an extended family or group of friends, these apartments include two bathrooms, a full-sized kitchen and a porch. They are easily as nice as any condo or home in the area, but with greater proximity to all of the amenities of the village.

With four room styles to choose from, the Inn offers more adjoining rooms than does the lodge and an overall more casual feel. Coin-operated guest laundry is on the second floor and a pleasant fitness room on the first. The big attraction here is the massive 55-foot diameter outdoor heated pool. Sure, the Lodge has one as well, but it’s always more crowded. Step in to 3-foot levels and splash on the ledges. But watch those who can’t swim well because it quickly deepens to 10 feet in the center.

Although there is no direct onsite dining, the Sun Valley Village offers multiple restaurant options for families with a variety of flavors sure please even the pickiest palate.
