Planning a visit to Tel Aviv? Consider a stay at the Tal by the Beach Hotel. The surprisingly affordable boutique hotel caters to families with modern guestrooms and suites, an onsite restaurant that offers complimentary breakfast each morning, and complimentary bicycles for exploring the city. The hotel’s location can’t be beat, either—it’s close to the Metzizim Beach and Tel Aviv Promenade, yet feels removed from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Tip: Be sure to head up to the resort’s rooftop bar/deck for stellar views of the city!

Very nice stay but some small improvements needed

by Laurent C

Very nice boutique hotel, very different from large "tourist factories" which are found in some other places.
However, the hotel advertises a free sauna and gym: both are quite uncomfortable. There is nowhere where to put your stuff. You have to use the floor! The sauna is lit only upon request, so it does not reach the normal temperature. Even after a few hours waiting, it hardly reaches 62°c (minimum should be 70 °c). Moreover, they decided that it was a good idea to put an office right next to the sauna. So instead of quiet heat, you have a loud work environnement with people shouting in the telephone...and not even the right heat.
I tried to pass on the message to the hotel management, but they did not seem to care so much...unfortunately.
