Exceptional hotel, which has a fascinating atmosphere, we visited in June 2019 for 12 nights. Hotel Art Deco style. All the staff are of high social level. Great restaurant, excellent quality food and wine, local cheeses and fresh pineapple are very delicious. Elegant rooms. Staff very helpful when changing rooms, when booking the car, even when informing about the possibilities of hiking. They deserve our thanks. The view from the room is in a large park, thousands of flowers, shrubs and rare trees and tree ferns. Flows through the thermal river. An outdoor swimming pool and the whole botanical park for hotel guests is available free of charge at any time, even at night. Bath under a starry sky in warm water, it's an experience! The possibility of watching exotic birds directly from the hotel room. One mistake - stay at such a high level would not rent a room at a noisy engine. Furnas and its surroundings is the divine essence of the Azores. Do this extraordinary hotel will be happy to return. Thank you very much.

Gorgeous hotel with attached gardens and mineral springs! Friendly, attentive staff and lovely on site restaurant. Wonderful breakfasts, lovely interior decor, access to gardens/springs after hours and near several sites/attractions, this is a perfect location for a holiday. Hotel provides dark-colored robes and towels to enjoy the springs. Enjoyed the pictorial history of the building displayed off the main lobby of the hotel. Nice gift shop on site with lovely local goods and artwork. Highly recommend this hotel!!
