If you crave a place with sweeping river views, but don’t have the budget for the Columbia Gorge Hotel, try this place. You can opt for a kitchenette, use the onsite picnic tables and grills or even try glamping in two furnished tents on the Vagabond’s five-acre property. Another bonus for families: buy a bundle of wood for outdoor S’mores and watch the sunset. While it’s not part of the hotel, there is a cozy White Buffalo Wine Bar and Bistro next door with both indoor and outdoor seating. Free Wi-Fi, mini-fridges, microwaves and coffee makers are among the amenities. Rollaway beds and cribs are available for a fee.

Beautiful setting

Enjoyed our stay at the Westcliff Lodge very much! The setting is gorgeous, our room was very spacious and beautiful, and it was clean and comfortable. It exceeded our expectations!!! If we ever get back to Oregon, will definitely stay here again!

Located along the Colombia River a short distance from Hood River

A family run motel right on the Colombia River banks. The motel is made up of several buildings with a variety of options from river views to forest views. Lots of free parking, free Wifi and easy access to I-84. Clean, large rooms with frig, microwave and coffee maker. The motel grounds are beautiful. No restaurant with hotel but there is a place called White Buffalo next door and the Columbia Gorge Hotel also next door has a restaurant. Hood River, less than 5 minute drive, has lots of great restaurants and bars.
