Saint Ignace sits at the southern tip of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, the first town visitors reach after traveling over the fames Mackinac Bridge. It is also the gateway to the time capsule natural wonder of Mackinac Island at the intersection of two Great Lakes. This roadside motel is the ultimate in no frills. They recently added Wi-Fi and the rooms have no air conditioning although Lake Huron promises cool breezes in the warm months. There are patio chairs out in front of your room, which is where you will park your car too in classic motel style. The bathrooms are small but capable. If you need a very simply, affordable but reliably clean and comfortable place to stay for a night in St Ignace that is close to the shops and restaurants of downtown, the Vitek’s Motel could be ideal for you.

We stayed here over Mini on the Mack event. Rooms are very clean, comfortable and well kept. We would stay again for sure. Great location for all activities. Thinking of coming up for Labor Day bridge walk.
Very friendly staff. Nice new owners Clean rooms, and no issues. Great price! Super close to the Kewadin Casino in St ignorance MI Not sure what else to say, other than two thumbs up. I cannot wait to go back in 2019.
