Wellington Hotel is a block from Carnegie Hall and two blocks from Central Park. Radio City Music Hall is nearby and Broadway shows are within walking distance. The Midtown hotel offers a fantastic location and affordable rates compared to area hotels. One-bedroom suites are perfect for families who want a bit of space with seating areas and kitchenettes. Rooms feature high-speed wireless Internet, cable televisions and air-conditioning. Molyvos is a traditional Greek restaurant onsite; Park Cafe — a New York coffee shop — is open until the wee hours of the night. Gift shops are at the hotel, making it easy to pick up a quick souvenir. New York is one of the nation’s most walkable cities, but families don’t have to walk far from Wellington to find charming restaurants, shops, parks and museums.

Just back from a 4 day break in New York and had a great stay, our room wasnt what we had requested from the travel agent so the next morning went and had a word with the receptionist who was extremely helpful and moved us promptly to the top floor with a fabulous room with a great view of central park,the hotel is in walking distance of central park,times square ect the wellington is an old hotel but that just adds to the charm and is very clean and comfortable and would definitely recommend this hotel,a special mention to Judd the doorman a big fellow with a big heart who couldn't help us enough and made our stay in NYC all the more memorable we will be back ❤

The only good part of staying here is the location. Other than that, it's an outdated property with hidden resort fees, $100 security deposit, and the reception staff is unfriendly and rude. Stay somewhere else in the area, there are plenty of options to choose from.
