Very lucky to stay in this hotel
Really enjoyed everything in this hotel very nice ambiance nice kind staff good breakfast the place is in very nice area for summer vacation I recommend it for families to enjoy

Overall this is a new hotel on the outskirts of town (but definitely walking distance say 10 minutes on the boardwalk). It is located right in front of the ocean and there is a commuter train in front of the hotel between the hotel and the ocean that is very loud. The rooms do have sliding glass doors that must be hurricane proof (they feel like they weigh a ton) and provided pretty good sound proofing.

The rooms are good, nice views. Staff with the one exception below is very good and helpful. Decent breakfast on the outside terrace although the area is cramped.

So the hiccup? We valet parked our car for the night. The next morning they could not find the keys. Took them 45 minutes. Apparently the guy whom parked our car left the keys in another car--thankfully the manager reversed engineered the problem and eventually found them. We wasted a lot of time waiting but oh well.

Their response after we got sorted--"the manager wants to offer you a gift." So we waited another 10 minutes while they tried to figure that out before getting us a bottle of Port to take. I looked up the bottle as I did not recognize the winemaker and it was a $9 bottle of Port retail. I would have preferred not to wait. I guess we can cook with it.

If you want to say "sorry" do not do it with a $9 bottle of wine/port!
