Art Devlin’s Olympic Motor Inn offers affordable, pet-friendly accommodations in the Adirondack Mountains. Plus, it’s close to several points of interest in Lake Placid; in fact, it’s within walking distance of the Olympic Center and Olympic Museum, as well as Main Street. Mirror Lake and Whiteface Mountain are only a short drive away.

Situated on two acres of land, Art Devlin’s Olympic Motor Inn has 50 guestrooms in several variations. The most basic option, the Bronze Room, accommodates families with two double beds and a mini-fridge. Suites with private bedrooms and living areas with sleeper sofas are also available, and include fully equipped kitchens — another great option for families.

Complimentary, continental breakfast is served daily from 7 to 11 a.m. and includes doughnuts and muffins. Complimentary Wi-Fi is also included in hotel rates. In the summer, the outdoor pool opens up for guests to enjoy during their stay.

Clean & Comfortable

Meandering our way from Toronto to Boston, we decided not to book ahead but to take what we could find. Mid summer meant Lake Placid was very busy but the big modern hotels held no attraction for us. Art Devlin's was perfect - out of the busy town centre but still within walking distance, very friendly staff and very comfortable quiet room.

The best hotel in Lake Placid!

We have visited Lake Placid three times this summer, and the only place we would ever want to stay at is Art Devlin's! The rooms are spacious and immaculate, and there is a beautifully landscaped pool with unencumbered views of the Adirondack High Peaks! The rates can't be beat, and a coffee/tea/cocoa bar with delicious homemade muffins and donuts is included. The staff is cheerful and helpful, and you can take a short walk into town and avoid the traffic and parking. We have been there in every season, and would never consider staying anywhere else. Highly recommended! Give them a call!
