only stayed one night but really enjoyed the area and the view from my (not very big but fully equipped) room - definitely recommend and encourage everyone to explore the surrounding area for food, shopping, etc.

We stayed here for a few days after travelling around japan and staying in business hotels (like Dormy Inn amd Richmond and Mitsui Garden chains). And to be honest, I didn’t think this hotel was worth the money compared to those and it lacked value.

Our room itself was large with 2 double beds and the bathroom was lovely with a soaking tub and separate shower in one compartment. The room coffee machine was great and the view from our 24th floor was magnificent. The room was nicely furnished and super clean. But the 25th floor is a banquet room area and each evening we suffered through a lot of noise coming from above with chairs and tables being shuffled around etc.

Our complaints were heard and the hotel did do something for us that we appreciated but still, we shouldn’t have to complain about stuff like this at a 30-40,000 yen a night hotel.

Avoid the 24 floor at all costs.

Buffet breakfast was included for us amd it powered us for the better part of the day. It was enormous. Mainly Asian food but some western. The bakery (bread, croissants etc) items were weak though. And the coffee from the one touch espresso/cappuccino machines wasn’t good. I think the beans They decided to use weren’t good quality.

The buffet can get very crowded - especially on the weekends. But that’s what happens at a 350+ room hotel. We had to wait in line for a table a couple times. It felt like Las Vegas but Begas buffers are better.

No indoor Onsen . That’s a big negative for me. There is a swimming pool but entry is 1500 yen each day you want to use it! I’ve never been to a hotel that charges to use the pool! And no fitness centre!

Closest metro station is Tawaramachi. A good 700-800 metres south. That walk can feel like a grind after a long day touring around. Location next to Asakusa area and Close to kappabashi kitchen street can’t be beat.

So there is a lot to like about this hotel. But there were also things that bothered us that shouldn’t be issues at a 30-40,000 yen hotel.

We conclude that the value just isn’t there and are sorry to say that we wouldn’t stay here again. We expected more of the hotel and were disappointed. It lacked soul in some indescribable way.
