This large cable stay bridge is in the downtown/Old Market area of Omaha and is a great place to talk a walk with your family. It’s actually the longest pedestrian bridge to connect two states! You can stroll over the Missouri River from Omaha into Iowa. While it may not be worth a special visit on its own, the nearby riverfront area has family activities including the National Park Midwest Regional Office Visitor Center of the Lewis & Clark National Historic Trail. The bridge itself has some historic facts listed along the way and provides some nice views of downtown Omaha.
