The Contemporary Jewish Museum is home to various art exhibits that change seasonally. The museum’s mission is to provide visitors with exhibits that display the diversity of the Jewish culture, as well as programs that educate, challenge and inspire. Besides viewing the various paintings, sculptures and art work on display, visitors can enjoy performances by musicians and singers, as well as workshops, lectures, gallery talks and more. Family and teen programs include dance workshops, art-making, puppet shows, teen-led lectures, and more.
Admission to the museum is $12 for adults, $10 for seniors ages 65 and older, $10 for students, and free for children ages 18 and under. The museum is open Friday through Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Thursday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.; closed Wednesday. The museum is open on some major holidays, like Christmas Day, too.
