Disney California Adventure Park

Disney California Adventure Park

1313 Disneyland Drive, Anaheim, CA

Though it’s right next door to Disneyland, the California Adventure Park is a separate location. You can visit both with a park hopper pass, or choose one or the other. California Adventure is slightly smaller (72 acres compared to Disneyland’s 85), but it’s also much less crowded. The seven themed areas that comprise California Adventure are Buena Vista Street, Grizzly Peak, Paradise Pier, Pacific Wharf, Hollywood Land, Cars Land, and “a bug’s land.”

DCA has plenty of thrill rides–like “Ariel’s Undersea Adventure” and “The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror,” as well as interactive or discovery areas like the “Bakery” Tour and “Sorcerer’s Workshop.” Fun new attractions include “Luigi’s Rollickin’ Roadsters,” and a 4-D “Soarin’ Around the World” experience which takes you flying over beautiful landscapes in all corners of the planet.
