The Corobici River (put in at Canas) offers a relaxing and interesting float trip, especially in the afternoon when the river is alive with an abundance of wood storks and white cattle egrets flocking back to their roosts. We glided past bamboo and panama trees. As we paddled over to a tree, our guide pointed out that the black “bumps” on the tree were really long-nosed bats.
