This 2.8-acre trail is great for hiking or mountain biking. The free, dirt trail connects to several other trails and allows dogs on leashes.

For a self-guided hiking experience, families can connect a cell phone to an audio tour and listen to researchers explain the different features of the trail as you stroll along.

This is great way for families to get outside and enjoy the views or Irvine. Walking the trails could take about one to two hours.
