Walk around the historic Holzwarth ranch, where early settlers lived in the wilderness. Volunteer ranger guides will enthusiastically tell you some stories about the pioneers and how they lived, and the kids can participate in some fun old-time activities and even try on period clothing. Note, however, that it does operate seasonally, closing up in the fall and opening for spring.
