This gorgeous church built in 1534 survived a fire and still maintains its beauty inside and out. Situated in the center of Granada, families will want to ascend the stone, spiral staircase to the top of the church’s bell tower to see the awesome panoramic views of Granada. You will be able to see Lake Nicaragua, volcanos and the colorful city below.
Things to Know/Bring
The spiral staircase to the bell tower is very narrow and somewhat steep, but not difficult to climb. It’s about four-stories high. Restrooms can be found onsite.
