The tallest two-tiered waterfall in New York (and arguably the most beautiful), Kaaterskill Falls is a must-see attraction. Be aware that the hike to the top of the falls is not an easy one for youngsters. There isn’t an easy, guided trail from bottom to top; you’ll climb large rocks for most of the half-mile journey. Once you get to the top, however, you’ll be in awe. This is a great family photo opportunity.
