For beautiful scenery that mixes Alps views and urban vistas, take a stroll along Lake Zurich, or board a steamboat at Burkliplatz in the city center for hour and a half (or four-hour) boat tours. There’s plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. The longer tours cruise to the end of the lake in Rapperswil, known for its rose gardens and up-close Alps views, with stops in several villages along the way.
