As you enter Joshua Tree, you’ll see this giant-sized desert tortoise sculpture by the road (right below the Joshua Tree sign). It’s conveniently located, and kids may enjoy crawling around on the shell (and grown-ups can take advantage of the photo opportunity, too) before heading on to other adventures.
