Family Activities:

Parliament Square

Attraction

Having gained independence from Britain in just 1971, the islands still have some colonial British flavor, particularly in Nassau. There, kids will enjoy horse-and-buggy rides around the main sites, while parents take in sights such as Parliament Square, with its 18th-century pink buildings; later, let older kids haggle for tsotschkes or get their hair braided-and-beaded in the Straw Market where handicrafts are sold.
