Family Activities:

Puerto de Malaga

This clean port (rebuilt in 2011) is the perfect place to spend a few hours in the sunshine. Stroll under the orange trees while you enjoy a fro-yo. Watch massive cruise ships embark or deport. Depart on a sightseeing cruise, where you have the chance to see dolphins swimming, or dine in a Michelin-star restaurant.

There’s so much to see and do on this beautiful port with a promenade. Shops, bars and restaurants with terraces are plentiful, as is the people watching. Playgrounds and children’s activities are available to keep the little ones entertained.

The surroundings are sensational, with views of the colored cubes of Centre Pompidou, the only Pompidou outside of France, which houses a variety of art exhibitions. You can also see the Parque de Malaga, a gorgeous city park close by.

Restaurante Jose Carlos Garcia is a Michelin-star intimate dining treat located on the waterfront. Many relaxed options are available, such as tapas bars, casual restaurants and frozen yogurt shops.

Lots are available and some destinations on the port provide free parking with purchase.
