This expansive 104-acre park offers families plenty of open space to enjoy the California sun. Stock ponds are perfect for fishing in, paved walking and biking trails run throughout, and picnic tables and BBQ pits can be found scattered throughout large grassy areas.

Several different playgrounds with swings, slides and climbing equipment are situated throughout the park as well. There are sand volleyball courts, a baseball diamond, tennis courts, and a small amphitheater for live entertainment.

The Interpretive Center is also located within the park. This free center gives families a look back at prehistoric Orange County. There are numerous fossils — many of which were discovered in the immediate area — on display from more than one million years ago. Families will be amazed by the 9-million-year-old, 26-foot whale fossil named Joaquin and how it was discovered in the 1990s during road construction and excavated and moved to now live at the Interpretive Center.

Restrooms are situated throughout the park. Dogs are permitted on a leash.

The park is free to enter, but there is a small fee to park your car.
