The 180-acre Springs Preserve provides a quiet respite for kids to enjoy the desert environment, with a majority of the preserve dedicated to botanical gardens. Families may enjoy guided walks, a butterfly habitat and special workshops. Hiking trails and a children’s playground are available. The preserve is open Thursday through Monday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
