Sunlight Mountain Resort in Glenwood Springs, Colorado, offers families 67 trails across 680 skiable acres. Sunlight Mountain Resort is about one hour from Aspen/Snowmass. The Aspen-Pitkin County Airport is the closest to the resort and it services airlines from major U.S. cities, like Chicago, Los Angeles, Houston and Denver. Families should rent a car and drive to Glenwood Springs. Many of the hotels and lodges in the area offer free shuttle transportation to and from the mountain resort, so getting to the slopes will be easy.
