The one-hour journey begins at the 1905 historic depot, where visitors board a vintage, climate-controlled or open-air rail car. The 26-mile train ride winds along the Toccoa River, passing by a colorful canopy, and then stops for a two-hour layover at the state line sister towns of McCaysville, Georgia, and Copperhill, Tennessee.
