Very friendly staff, clean rooms and a good variation of food offerings. The beach is obviously not as idyllic as you might find further along the Dalmatian coast but considering its next to the city, it’s fine. The swimming pool certainly makes up for that and the spa is gorgeous. There was no evening entertainment whilst we were there but we only stayed for a couple of nights towards the end of the season. For our day trip to the city, we rented one of the many hotel bikes and cycled along the safe route adjacent to the harbour which gets you there in no time at all. We were a bit disappointed with Zadar itself, for me it didn’t match up to Split, Bol or Sibenik but a chilled all-inclusive break after a busy Dalmatian road trip was just what we needed, so that didn't bother us much.
Recently spent ten days here and was impressed with service received.
Complimentary robe and free flip flops to use whilst at hotel, everyone wearing them gave the feel of being at a spa ????they have a lovely spa area though never tried what was on offer but did make use of lovely heated indoor pool that goes to an heated outside pool. In room also free fridge of soft drinks topped up daily with water and soda drinks, free use of safe was another little bonus. We were on 2nd Floor superior double with balcony - very clean and tidy decent size but have been in bigger rooms. Housekeeping did a good job very friendly and polite. We were all inclusive and very happy with selection and presentation of food, waiters very efficient and polite. This hotel is predominantly catering for German/french which is not a problem but being English we do like decent tea and you won’t get that here only weak or fruit flavoured tea???? bar staff good did lots of cocktails on a/I , everybody we dealt with friendly just one young lady at snack bar a bit miserable the only person we ever saw like that so that’s not much to moan about. Used Bora Bora trips by reception for our trips we went to Croatia to specifically go to plitvice lakes and was not disappointed whole day with brilliant guide young man called ant who was very informative and passionate about the tour made it even more enjoyable, did also Krka falls but not until on coach found out only half day as on return would stop at Sibenik to do sightseeing or shopping which was a bit annoying as not extra money or cards as expected whole day at falls. Krka lovely place but not as impressive as plitvice and we thought price was dear compared to what you get for plitvice. So overall hotel brilliant value even for couples and will return to Croatia but south end in the future
