The Courtyard Philadelphia City Avenue isn’t located in downtown Philadelphia; instead, it’s located about a 15-minute drive or bus ride from the heart of the city. Still, it’s close to several restaurants and provides plenty of onsite conveniences for your family trip to the City of Brotherly Love.
Hotel perks include an indoor swimming pool, fitness center and complimentary Wi-Fi. There’s also an onsite restaurant, The Bistro, which serves casual fare for breakfast, lunch and dinner daily, with grab-and-go items and Starbucks products available, as well.
The hotel has 333 guestrooms, all of which were recently renovated, include one king bed or two queens. Suites have king beds and living areas with sofa beds. All accommodations are equipped with coffeemakers and mini-fridges for storing snacks. Cribs and rollaway beds are available upon request.

Nicely renovated Marriott with attentive friendly staff. Hotel was as expected with minor exceptions. For elderly or handicapped the beds are too high. Room only had one waste paper basket and AC/heat vents are not adjustable blowing directly on adjacent bed. Refrigerator had no freezer compartment nor was there a microwave
Stayed one night in a double room with my mother. We were concerned at first, it was Saturday night and there was an awful lot of people checking in and walking around.
but it was a great room, quiet floor. I got exceptional sleep. The bed was great. Everything worked in the room and the room was spotless.
Woke up, showered and got on the road,
Would stay there again. 15 minutes away from Drexler.
