On summer I planned my vacation in Turkey for autumn 2019. My choice was Bodrum as it is located on the Aegean sea and chose this hotel. The hotel is wonderful, settled perfectly, the rooms are spacious, decorated in a modern style. The room was cleaned daily, there were always clean and neatly folded towels, soap, disposable slippers, neatly made bed.
The hotel has excellent cuisine, always varied and delicious. Excellent wine and soft drinks. The hotel managers were always interested in our opinion and took care of the cleanliness and order in the restaurant. I would like to mention of food and beverage Manager, his name Oguz and his team. Excellent guys, always were are kind and friendly, helped to decide any questions.
The Aegean sea is very beautiful, has a turquoise-blue color, but cool. The beach is functionally equipped, there is a shallow approach, on a white clean sand, and there is also a descent from Panton.
The hotel has unobtrusive animation, music at the volleyball court.
The hotel is perfect for a calm, family holiday on the relax style.
Secret Escapes listed this as 5 star ultra all inclusive. No way for a number of reasons.
We saw one branded drink and when asked if others were available the answer was a no.
One of the two a la carte restaurants was closed.
The whole resort was grubby around the edges. The main bar was smelly and the cloths with the empty glasses on were dirty when we arrived and were never changed.
The public toilets near the relax pool had one cursory clean in a week and the toilet paper wasn’t refilled. The ladies loo was closed for the whole week.
The staff had a definite end of season feel about them. We arrived about midnight and we were not even offered a drink. The staff had a definite love of their own i phones!
In a few places handrails were damaged and had parts missing.
On the positive side we had a great room and view and there are plenty of comfy seating areas. Blagoy, the customer liaison manager was brilliant and offered his driver for our use as we were the only Brits in the hotel.
The buffet was OK and was always well stocked and we had a fabulous fish meal in the a la carte. ( spoiled slightly by misbehaving kids )
Not one of Secret Escapes best efforts.
