I like to say that the staff is awesome and Imean all of them, the pool sucks it's not heated in anyway and not enjoyable, the hotel was going through renovations otherwise it would be 5 stars all they was but I was using my honors reward points, when you use 4 days you get th 5th for free, otherwise I would have checked out the first day but I would have lost my 5th nigh free. Terrible experience with the construction going on. and the rooms still smelt like paint

We stayed in this hotel on our three day visit to the Poconos in early October. The hotel staff were friendly and the room was very comfortable. Our bed was one of the best we have ever slept in. The hotel is just about a block off the main street of the town too which makes it convenient. Stroudsburg is a centrally located small town that makes for a great base camp for your Poconos vacation. I won't knock the hotel even though it was going through renovations and was a little down at the heel when we were there. I am sure that when they are done with the work the hotel will be refreshed. All in all recommended.
