Mount Pleasant, South Carolina is a quick nine miles to Charleston proper and is brimming in her own beautiful parks, festivals, and historical sites.
Sitting just 4.4 miles to the Historic Charleston City Market (walkable to the aquarium, Children’s Museum of the Low Country and the Waterfront Park) and nine miles to the Isle of Palms beach, is the Hilton Garden Inn Charleston/Mt. Pleasant.
The Hilton Garden Inn’s rooms offer a king bed or two queens. Upgrade to more square footage or an exceptional view. Or consider upgrading to a king suite that has more square footage and a queen-sized pullout sofa. A rollaway bed can go into the king suite for a fee.
Each room comes with a modern “drizzly-chocolate” rug pattern, complimentary Wi-Fi, a microwave, a mini-fridge and a Keurig coffee system. The property has an onsite restaurant (serving breakfast and dinner), a fitness room, and free parking. Room service is available from 5 to 10 p.m. The second-floor rooftop terrace has a pretty outdoor pool, upscale fire pit and a bar.

The property was clean and everything worked in the room. The usual Hilton property is pretty clean, but this one exceeded expectations in this department. Having said that, every front desk interaction I had was met with curt, disinterested, and rude attitudes. I don't know if it's stress, poor management, all of the above or what... but this was just appalling.
The hotel was very clean and the staff was very friendly. It was also nice to be able to select my room as well as have access to everything on my phone (key card, check in/out, etc). The rooftop firepit and patio area was very nice. Great location just minutes from downtown and other local attractions. Would stay again. The hotel stay was a little pricey though and did not include breakfast.
