If you’re spending time in Dover to visit family or the impressive Air Mobility Command Center located in Dover, a stay in the Hilton Garden Inn is a perfect choice for families. To begin, the Hilton Garden Inn has an indoor pool. (Send up the balloons!) The guest rooms are beautiful and spotless, with a small refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker and free Wi-Fi. The huge flat-screen TV needs no comment. The larger suites give a family a true bedroom and a sitting area with a pullout couch, plus everything that the standard guest rooms deliver.

There’s no complimentary breakfast, but the nearby Great American Grill serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Delaware beach is about thirty minutes away and a park is two miles away.

I would like to thank Clara for making our Anniversary a memorable one. We didn't think we would find a hotel since everything was booked. She and the other front desk staff were very friendly. When she found out it was our Anniversary she personally delivered a bottle of champagne and 2 glasses to our room along with a card signed by all the hotel staff. We will definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family and we will stay here on our next visit.

Too bad the agents dont listen when making a reservation

After driving up from FL to NY the day before and heading back down less than 24 hours later, you want a hot shower, a place to rest your head and somethjing to eat in the morning. Thats where is went wrong. The agent we made the reservation with did not inform us that you if ask for the Bed & Breakfast option and then ask if there is a AAA discount they give you 1 and not the other and your not told. Needless to say waking up hungry & tired, with a very long trip ahead of us and being told we had to pay fro breakfast, pushed me over the edge. Which made it even worse is the front desk was unwilling to help us due to Hilton's mistake. Won't make that mistake again. Be sure to confirm what your getting. Hilton's Promise is "Our goal is to make your stay better and brighter. If something isn’t just the way you like it, simply let any hotel team member know, and we will make it right." FAILED
