We arrived to the hotel around check-in time to be told the room was not ready. We had to wait in the lobby for about an hour to get our keys. This was a little frustrating as we were excited to go out and enjoy the city. We were able to stay in one of the newly renovated rooms which we enjoyed. It was a little small but very clean.

We thought the location was nice. We hopped on the double decker tour near the Flat Iron building. Otherwise, we just walked and took the subway

I'm in the shower and the water turns itself off. Not fun! It came back on but only for a few minutes but I was able to get the soap out of my hair. I had to brush my teeth with bottled water I happen to have with me. I room was not all that clean and I don't even what to get started on the restaurant! I asked for poached eggs and the waiter acted like I asked for roasted eyeballs! Then I had the nerve to ask for rye bread and was served wheat bread, when I mentioned that the bread was not rye the waiter replied that they always serve wheat bread to people who ask for rye. What??? This is Manhattan people, rye bread is a staple. Needless to say I will not be returning. EVER.
